Nike Sportswear DJ AM & DJ Premier Video Interview with Jesse Leyva

Nike introduced their DJ AM x DJ Premier rival cap on January 9, 2010. This collectible pack, which pays tribute to West coast/East coast rival DJs, featured both a Dunk and Air Force 1. Both DJs worked closely with Nike in the design process of their shoes.

DJ Premier, a hip hop legend in the eyes of many, hails from the Concrete Jungle a.k.a NYC. One of his most recent projects was some serious production work on the album "Street Hop" by Royce Da 5'9"

DJ AM, who passed away August 28, 2009, was quite possibly most known for his work with Travis Barker (Blink 182), but he also collaborated with major icons such as Madonna and Will Smith.

DJ AM was more than a DJ, he was a sneakerhead as well! Jesse Leyva, Global Design Director for Nike, commented in the video shown above, "we've even purchased shoes back from Adam because he had sneakers that we didn't have!" ----NOW thats HOT!!!
